The fudge was scrumptious and gratefully received but to be honest she didn't get to help much with the making.
You can't really have a small child hanging over a hot stove for too long.
As she loves to bake, I thought it would be much nicer for her to give cookies or, as my mum quite rightly insists we Brits should call them, biscuits.
And as cookies qualify as no stress cooking in my mind, I am quite happy to whip up separate batches for the kids and the grown ups.
And if time allows even some yummy low GI ones for the various diabetics in the family.
