Shopping list - weaning

At 4 months you finally seem to be getting the hang of everything - colic has gone, baby is sleeping better, you're feeling slightly less nutty - then suddenly everyone's talking about the when, what and how of weaning and exactly what kind of latest super stylish, incredibly whizzy high chair they're going to buy.

I am going to look at the whens and the whats and the hows in some other lists but this is a starter shopping list for what you need to buy (very little) and some extras that you might like to have (much more).  The good news is that whilst you can spend £500 on a chair (!) you can get a perfectly good one for £25 and nothing else is very expensive (unless you go down the route of specialist steamers and blenders).

I have included quite a few brand names in the list, not in general as recommendations but just as pointers for useful search terms if you're looking at stuff on-line.
