Empty Your Archive Party #1

Unknown // Tuesday 26 March 2013

Welcome to the first Empty Your Archive Party.

Not another party I hear you say - and yes, there are lots of fabulously lovely link ups already - but this one is a little bit different.

Most parties are about your brightest and best new posts.

This one, is all about the old stuff lurking in your archive, a little bit lost and forgotten perhaps but very worthy of a dust down.

But you can't add any old stuff!

Each week there will be 5 themes and you can link anything you've got on those themes.

By grouping posts around a theme we can build a fab resource for others in search of great posts on a particular subject. The link lists will stay open so you can always go back to a previous week's party to link up.

Each week I will feature, pin and tweet my faves from the previous week and after a list has been open for a month, I will write a round up on each theme and share these at other link parties and on Pinterest, Twitter, Google+ etc.

As an extra bonus, the most clicked link each week will feature on my blog for the next week.

Apart from sticking to the weekly themes, there are no rules to the party - I would love it if you linked up with the button below and followed me but that's totally up to you ...

This Week's Themes

So let's get this first Empty Your Archives Party started ... the themes this week are
  • Pinterest - all your best tips on how to get the best out of Pinterest
  • Laundry -  everything from routines, natural products, stain removal, laundry room makeovers, total disasters or just general despair at the time it takes!
  • Big cakes - all your best recipes for really fabulous big cakes rather than tiny fairy, cup cake things which are lovely but not this week's theme :-)
  • Sleep & bedtime routines - how you do or don't get your children to sleep every evening without complete melt-down by them or you
  • Learning to read - your best advice on learning to read from pre-schoolers onward - games, creative ideas, great books, reading schemes, apps etc
