The Christmas Season kicks off for us with the Downtown McKinney Parade of Lights. It's super cute, small-town and just a lot of fun. This year was unseasonably warm (think 70 degrees - hahaha), and although it was nice to not have to bundle up, there was definitely something "wrong" with seeing people in shorts and t-shirts wearing Santa hats :)

We got there a few minutes early and I packed the boys dinner to keep them entertained while we waited. Mason was busy cheesin' it up for people passing by:
We had the MAJOR candy cane hook-up when the MCA Cheerleaders spotted us :) The entire Junior High Squad are my current students and they all wanted to give my boys a treat. hahaha.
My favorite part every year is seeing Mary and Joseph in the scoop of the tractor :)
The MCA float is always adorable - maybe next year I'll sign Luke up to be a shepherd :)
