Rosemary can be a challenge to grow.
It can easily go straggly and woody and be decimated by the terribly pretty but lethal rosemary beetle.
Despite our rubbish London soil and my hands off gardening style I have managed - with early staking & diligent daily beetle removal - to grow a decent rosemary bush in our front garden.
I'm going to use the rosemary in some Christmas gifts but have also been looking for culinary inspiration beyond throwing it in whatever we happen to be eating.
I am loving these 20 different recipes I have found so far - yes there's scrumptious bread, lamb, chicken and roast potatoes but also rosemary jelly, pastry, macaroons, muffins, cheesecake and chocolate truffles to name just a few!
Enjoy!
And if you've got your own posts on either growing or cooking with herbs do link them up ... as many as you like ... at the bottom of this post ...
