Making lavender bags for Christmas ...

As part of our plan for more frugal festivities this year we're planning on making some little lavender bags as gifts.

We've got some rather motley lavender bushes in the front garden and scavenged what we could from them this afternoon.  Never having made them before we've left it a bit late as apparently they need a good month in the airing cupboard to dry out.

We haven't got much so they will either have to be very tiny or we'll have to mix the lavender with rice.

As we'd enjoyed making them so much we also made some more Rudolf cards this morning and started on our paper mache pots for our Christmas bulbs.
